Fashion Friday

❤ In today's society it seems as if fashion is everything. I know I'm constantly checking instagram to see what celebrity has the cutest outfit and how i can go to Charlotte Russe or even Fashion Nova to find something similar for half the cost, cause lord knows I don't have them coins yet hunny lol. Even with fashion constantly changing and evolving i happen to know a couple of fashion killas that manage to make their budget stretch or spend that extra coin to look fly.
❤ I want to introduce our first post to the "Fashion Friday" someone who i happen to know VERY well my lit ol bestie

❤ One thing I've always admired about my bestie is he always has that I DON'T CARE attitude when it comes to fashion, he takes risk that some of us even myself would shy away from. I know ya'll have them moments when your shopping in and you see that cute top but you feel like everyone wont like it yeah admit it, it truly be like that sometimes, but hunny not this one he's gonna get it, buy it and slay it and next week imma be trying to squeeze in it lol cause its so fly.
I spoke with my bestie regarding his style and below is what he had to say:
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: My style is very urban, affordable and very me! I try to stay with the trends but I also dress how I like to dress and how I feel comfortable!
What are some of your favorite stores to shop at?
A: My favorite stores to shop are forever21, H&M, Urban outfitters, ASOS and Any small affordable boutique with decent pricing and nice clothing! I’m cheap but love to look fly!
Q:Do you prefer to shop online or in store and why ?
A: I personally love to shop in store because I am impatient and hate waiting for packages to arrive, however I can truly say that is a down fall as online gives you the opportunity to find things that you won’t see 2 or 3 people wearing when you walk in the club also it allows you to find items that might not be sold in store or even in the state you live in.
Q:When deciding what to wear to an event how do you decide what to wear?
A: when it’s comes to event I usually factor out the type of event it is, the time of day this event is help, and the audience! You don’t want to walk into a crowd of people that love Louis Vuitton and you have on Michael Kors!
Q:What are some helpful tips you can give someone who is shopping on a budget?
If you are like myself you hate wearing the same outfis over and over again you love the sound of popping a tag off a shirt or a pair of pants. Shop cheap but still get what’s in and what’s cute and what you like! Fuck how everybody feels if you like it who knows how many people are out there watching.

Connected for Help

(I do not own the rights to this photo) There are people in your life that would never truthfully do anything for you. They don’t love you or care about you they just love the benefits you bring. They manage to stay connected to you so they do the bare minimal possible. They send a little text here and a little car there just so they can stay connected to you, so when they need you they know you will always be there. People like this are always hard to spot simply because they may be the closest to you. They are the ones that are always “busy” and do so much but manage to stay connected to every social media outlet. They are the ones that are never there for the struggle but always present for the come up. They always have their hand out on the receiving end but never on the giving end. These are the people we define as fraudulent people(definition coming soon). When people like this enter our life what do we do? How do we respond? Do we cut off? or Do we keep quite?

Getting Closer to GOD

(I do not known the rights to this photo) Okay yall lets get real. With my blog i want to be completely honest and real with you all and in return hopefully you all will be real with me. Now see i grew up in the church. It was something that my family was really big on.As a little girl i would go to church every Sunday, bible study every Wednesday, choir practice every other Saturday, i attended all vacation bible schools in the summer it was just natural to me. As a young one you learn about who God is and different characters in the bible such as Moses and David and Goliath and i loved it. Not to mention being in the children’s church getting snacks and occasional naps here and there, if you ask me it wasn’t that bad.
